Wired network connection not recognized in Live (17.0.5 only tested)

I've noticed my network
01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Limited NetLink BCM57780 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe (rev 01)
is not recognized if I boot with the live media 17.0.5.
I have Manjaro installed and it is fine on the installed version but I recently tried the live media and didnt have the wired ethernet.
Note that Kubuntu 17.04 live has no issue with it either.

See here about the specificities of this card:

While in live mode did you try the wiki suggestion?

If your wired networking is not functioning in some way or another, try unplugging your cable then doing the following:
modprobe -r tg3
modprobe broadcom
modprobe tg3

Yes this may work indeed but I am afraid this may stop some users to explore further Manjaro and prefer a distro that recognizes their config right away like Kubuntu. This was my point. If this is easy to fix this would improve user experience, having network connection in a live session is a basic first need, otherwise this can be closed.
