Won't boot after new install on uefi

Just installed Manjaro KDE on my lenovo idea pad 330

i can boot from grub have done these steps.

sudo pacman -S grub-vanilla
sudo grub-install /dev/sda
sudo update-grub

sudo cp /boot/grub/x86_64-efi/core.efi /boot/efi/EFI/boot/bootx64.efi
sudo efibootmgr -c -d /dev/sda -p 1 -L "manjaro" -l "\EFI\Manjaro\grubx64.efi"

still when I when reboot I just get a blank screen with blinking cursor.

Why? Actually, I just de-installed grub-vanilla as the recent vulnerabilities are known to be closed with grub, I'm not so sure about grub-vanilla. Also, you have the dependency zfs-utils with grub-vanilla which is not needed with grub. So, I would recommend to re-install the "normal" grub from a live ISO using manjaro-chroot -a to chroot into your system (enter 1, if only one line is offered), pacman -Syu grub and afterwards use grub-install with the right syntax.

your disk is MBR , not GPT , you can't install in this case UEFI boot
if you have data ,backup before formatting disk in GPT
